Can you decorate apparel I purchased outside of Design Like Whoa?

As of March 2022, we are no longer accepting client provided garments for decorating purposes. In order to provide a seamless experience for our clients, managing the complete process of an order (sourcing to fulfillment) will allow our team to eliminate potential error or miscommunication. Additionally, we want to ensure the quality of customization we are providing is up to our standards.

Can I wash my apparel?

Yes, you can wash your printed apparel! Check out our care instructions for each type of print.

Which print method is the most durable?

Screen printing and embroidery are the most durable print methods. Screen prints typically crack after 2+ years depending on washing. Vinyl will crack over time, typically in about a year if washed excessively.

What is your design submission and approval process?

Once you send over your artwork, we send a proof for you to review that includes measurements and placement details. Once details are confirmed, we will follow up with an invoice for your approval.

Do you offer samples?

We can print samples, but we use a different print process for one-offs/samples. Instead of screen printing, we'll either print your sample with vinyl or DTG depending on the material of the garment and outcome we are trying to achieve. The sample would merely be for an idea of the size and placement of the graphic, and how it lays on the apparel. The sample would be added to your order total, and would vary based on which styles you'd like a sample of.

What are set-up fees?

Set-up fees refer to the preparation it takes to go to print. For example, burning screens for screen printing, creating and cutting designs for vinyl, or creating a thread pattern for embroidery. The good news is, if you reuse the same artwork for a reorder, your set-up fee will be waived.

Do you do rush orders?

Depending on our schedule, we can print orders within 3 - 7 days for an additional fee. DTG and vinyl are our quickest methods for small, quick turnaround orders.
