Embroidery 101
Embroidery is a popular method of decorating apparel and accessories using thread and needles. This decoration method has a high quality, professional feel and is also the most durable way to decorate your items. In fact, embroidery typically lasts the lifetime of the garment it’s on. If you’re looking for an elevated look, embroidery is the way to go!

Placement is limited to where items can be “hooped” to be embroidered. Embroidery hoops help stabilize the fabric and provide an even tension on garments.
Embroidered text must be at least .25” tall otherwise the edges will not be sharp.
Patches are a great way to cover seams on your garment. Patches can either be sewn or ironed on.
Embroidery is recommended for decorating hats because of the durability.
High pile (or fluffy) items require a knock down stitch, otherwise the fluff would hide the embroidery.
Embroidery is not recommended for gradients or photographs because it is difficult to blend colors.
