Partnership with WeHero

The past six months have brought about an almost unfathomable amount of change. While most of this change has been accompanied by confusion and a certain degree of chaos, we are here to highlight some of the positive changes that have arisen from the current situation.

We've found new ways to connect with ourselves, our families, our coworkers, and our communities. We've realized that we can adapt, innovate, and accomplish things that previously seemed impossible. We’ve learned how to come together and help one another, even while physically apart.

One of the biggest changes we’ve seen over the past few months has been the rise of remote volunteering. In an effort to support this movement, Design Like Whoa recently partnered with a company called WeHero. Based out of the Bay Area, WeHero offers corporate volunteer events, and is working towards a mission of empowering 10 million people with the tools to give back easily and impactfully.

When Covid-19 prompted a wave of closures back in March, WeHero’s in-person corporate volunteer events were put on hold. For a company largely reliant on face to face experiences, WeHero faced an imminent need to adapt. Soon after the initial shutdown, WeHero launched a plan to continue delivering high impact volunteer experiences while working from home. These programs were built upon a desire to deliver support to critical programs, while simultaneously boosting team morale through uniting employees around a powerful cause. WeHero’s events can be shipped to employee’s homes, sent to a central location for pick up, or hosted entirely online.

We are excited to be partnered with WeHero, and are looking forward to supporting individuals and employees with the tools necessary to inspire themselves, their coworkers, and their communities, all while remaining remote.
